Boyle Marine in 1967

History of Boyle Marine
Our marina has been in operation since the 1940's. In 1966 Pat's father, Owen Boyle, brought his own boat to the North Channel. He then purchased MacGregor Marina from Bill MacGregor and renamed it Boyle Marine. Owen and Mary Boyle operated the facility until 1979 when Pat and Marlene took over the family run business. Its capacity has increased from twenty slips in 1966, to over seventy slips today. Pat and Marlene's son Brian has returned to Manitoulin and is now an integral part of the team at Boyle Marine.
